The Nagoya-Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol on Liability and Redress to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety closed for signature yesterday with a total of 51 signatories.
Brazil, Central African Republic and Thailand signed the Nagoya – Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol on Liability and Redress on 6 March 2012. This brings the total number of signatories to 51.
Mexico signed the Nagoya – Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol on Liability and Redress on 5 March 2012. This brings the total number of signatories to 48.
Japan signed the Nagoya – Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol on Liability and Redress on 2 March 2012. This brings the total number of signatories to 47.
