While the Principles apply to all new project financings globally with total project capital costs of US$10 million or more, and across all industry sectors, project Finance is often used to fund the development and construction of major infrastructure and industrial projects. Additionally, the EPs are primarily intended to provide a minimum standard for due diligence to support responsible risk decision-making.
