The EU Business and Biodiversity Platform is a unique facility where businesses can come together to share their experiences and best practices, learn from their peers, and voice their needs and concerns to the European Commission. The Platform aims to strengthen the link between the business sector and biodiversity conservation, in particular in the following six priority sectors: agriculture, food supply, forestry, non-energy extractive industry, finance, and tourism.

European Union Ecolabel

Voluntary scheme, established in 1992 to encourage businesses to market products and services that are kinder to the environment. Products and services awarded the Ecolabel carry the flower logo, allowing consumers - including public and private purchasers - to identify them easily. Today the EU Ecolabel covers a wide range of products and services, with further groups being continuously added. The EU flower logo signifies indirect reduction of potential impacts on biodiversity through recycling and  sustainable environmental manufacturing.
