The RJC is an international, not-for-profit organisation established to reinforce consumer confidence in the jewellery industry by advancing responsible business practices throughout all facets of the diamond, gold and platinum group metals jewellery supply chain.  It seeks to work with a wide range of stakeholders in defining and implementing responsible jewellery practices through the RJC’s certification system, which contains principles and codes of practice on environmental performance that include references to the preservation of biodiversity.

The (RTRS) is a multi-stakeholder initiative which aims to facilitate a global dialogue on soy production that is economically viable, socially equitable and environmentally sound. It provides stakeholders and interested parties – producers, social organizations, business, and industry - with the opportunity to jointly develop global solutions leading to responsible soy production.

As a result of consensus between producers, industry, trade & finance, and civil society actors involved in the soy value chain, the RTRS standard for responsible soy production was developed. It includes requirements to:
  • Halt conversion of areas with high conservation value
  • Promote best management practices
  • Ensure fair working conditions
  • Respect land tenure claims

The TTF provides environmental services to its members including briefings, training, tools, research data, and policy making. Additionally, they promote the positive environmental benefits of using wood products and encourage environmentally responsible trading practices. Furthermore, they offer guidance on all relevant environmental matters and regularly publish material for members and their customers. Finally, the TTF advises the government on timber procurement through the Reference Board for the Central Point of Expertise in Timber (CPET).
