Title How to engage stakeholders and mainstream biodiversity
Description Section Three - This section gives an introduction as to how communication, education, participation and public awareness, (CEPA) can be used to work with stakeholders to develop support for biodiversity conservation. It also provides tools to assist the NBSAP coordinator to “mainstream” biodiversity into other sectors. In this section NBSAP coordinators can choose amongst the tools to update knowledge and skills to be able to reach out to and engage non-experts in biodiversity according to the particular circumstances and how to use CEPA interventions to:  
• to integrate or mainstream biodiversity in different sectors such as:  
• Other ministries, departments, agencies or institutes; 
• Mass media; 
• Formal education 
How to support stakeholder engagement by:  
• developing capacity of stakeholders; 
• handling participation of stakeholdersable to reach out to and engage non-experts in biodiversity according to the particular circumstances.
