Preparation for the second meeting of the Conference of the Parties
Requests the Secretariat to assist in the organization of regional and sub-regional meetings for the preparation of the second meeting of the Conference of the Parties;
Invites the developed countries and the international organizations to make voluntary contributions to fund such regional and sub-regional meetings and to facilitate the participation of the developing countries, and in particular the least developed amongst them, in such meetings as well as in the meetings convened under the Convention.
