The first meeting of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Ad Hoc Technical Expert Group (AHTEG) on biodiversity and climate change will be held from 17 to 21 November 2008 in London, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I am pleased to invite organizations actively participating in issues related to biodiversity and climate change, to provide the Secretariat with the name, coordinates and curriculum vitae of a nominated expert via an official letter. The nomination should be sent to the Secretariat by fax to +1 (514) 288-6588 or scanned and attached to an email addressed to: secretariat@cbd.int and should reach the Secretariat by 22 September 2008.
