Foundation for International Environmental Law and Development (FIELD)

FIELD is a non-governmental organisation bringing together public international lawyers committed to the promotion of environmental protection and sustainable development through law. FIELD established a Biodiversity Programme in 1997 that works closely with other NGOs, international organisations and developing countries, both in providing legal advice, undertaking research and in capacity building projects that allow greater participation in formulating policies that protect biodiversity both at the national and international level.
