Cyprus becomes seventy-second signatory of the Nagoya Protocol and the thirty-seventh signatory of the Nagoya-Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol on Liability and Redress

Montreal, 5 January 2012 – Cyprus, on 29 December 2011, became the seventy-second signatory of the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization to the Convention on Biological Diversity and the thirty-seventh signatory of the Nagoya Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol on Liability and Redress to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.
