Moving from CBD COP decisions to implementation on the ground requires focused use of often limited resources. The Swedish national programme on local and traditional knowledge related to biodiversity (Naptek) describes challenges encountered and lessons learnt over a six year period of work to implement articles 8(j) and 10(c) in Sweden. The event will have a special focus on our work with the Akwé: Kon Guidelines, the Tkarihwaié:ri Code of Ethical Conduct, and on Communication, Education and Public Awareness (CEPA).
