The outcome of Tokyo Symposium on Domestic Measures and Next Steps

The result of the International Symposium on Domestic Measures to Implement Obligations under the Nagoya Protocol held 8 March in Tokyo will be presented. In addition, some ideas for effective implementation of the Protocol will be presented to seek any other ideas, opinions and inputs. Expected audiences are mainly government officials who are in charge of their country’s domestic measures to ratify the Protocol. Participation of the other stakeholders who are interested in relevant discussions is also welcome.
