Sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety

GMO databases - access, scopes and perspectives. Several GMO databases are available on the internet, others are in preparation. Although divergent in scope and thus designed for different audiences, they share a common core of information. In this side event, major publically available and an upcoming database will be briefly presented. Emphasis will be put on their scopes and their objectives. Participants of this side event will have the opportunity to directly express their experience with and expectation to LMO database owners. In the context of limited resources, options for potential synergies will be discussed.
