Eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 11)

The event will showcase progress on implementing the “Amazon ecosystem-based conservation vision” action plan (2010 -2020) since its announcement at CBD COP 10 by the Environmental Ministries of Amazon countries and territories. The focus will include the contribution to the implementation of the CBD Strategic Plan and Aichi Targets, and commitments of support by multi-lateral and bi-lateral partners/donors institutions for the life Web Expression of Interest. The event will address especially Aichi Target 20 on mobilising financial resources for implementation of the CBD Strategic Plan 2011-2020.
