Eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 11)

It is proposed to organise a series of exhibitions for showcasing linkages between various Indian Festivals and biodiversity as a part of socio-cultural traditions in India and their role in biodiversity conservationin. The Nodal point for these exhibition will be DIG, Forest Policy of the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India jointly with others such as Dr. Nalini Geete, Distinguished Ayurveda Physician, Shri Ajay Kumar Lal, Director, Ministry of Environment & Forests and others. The duration of the exhibition will be for 7 days during CoP11 at Hyderabad in which themes of various aspects of biodiversity related issues vis a vis Indian culture, tradition, festivals will be displayed. Request for timely approval for enabling us making necessary arrangements.
