Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy - Directorate General for Development Cooperation

Date and Time
12 October 2012 18:15 - 19:45

Meeting
Eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 11)

Building upon lessons learned from a series of DGCS-IUCN development projects in different continents, the side-event supports the contention that systemic and objective approaches are essential to consolidating such significant processes as the those launched by the Biodiversity Indicators Partnership, toward providing relevant international organizations and development agencies with effective and coherent project design and monitoring tools while assisting in enhancing the best use of GEF funds.
