Through Decision XI/3 the Biodiversity Indicators Partnership (BIP) was requested to support a number of actions concerning global, regional and national indicator development for the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020. This side event will provide an update on the work of the BIP and include: • Launch of the second edition of the CBD/BIP Aichi Targets Passport • National indicators for NBSAP revision – an overview, including country experiences, of BIP activities to support the development and use of indicators for NBSAPs • Indicator harmonization across MEAs
