Twelfth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity

This side event will bring together all current and future Friends of Target 12 who will be discussing how to further support the implementation of Aichi Target 12, including through the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (global and national), species conservation planning and species recovery programs. Aichi Target 12 states that "By 2020 the extinction of known threatened species has been prevented and their conservation status, particularly of those most in decline, has been improved and sustained."
