Gervernment of India, enacted the Biological Diversity Act. 2002 in spirit of UN Convention on Biological Diversity and which enabled the local communities have rights on their Biological Resources and its associated traditional knowledge. We would like to bring the notice of internatonal community some of the successful case studies how these communities benefit out conservation and promotion of their biological resources.
