Statement

Joint Statement of the Convention on Biological Diversity and RAMSAR Convention, Delivered By Ahmed Djoghlaf, Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity, at the High-level Segment of the Twelfth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, Nairobi, 15 november, 2006.

Climate change has been identified as one of the most important drivers of the unprecedented rate of the loss of biodiversity on our planet.
