| Abstract |
This project will increase the local population's adaptation capabilities vis-à-vis climate change through a network of new terrestrial, coastal and marine protected areas in the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau. The protected areas will also support coastal and nature conservation (e.g. measures to prevent erosion, to conserve mangroves and water resources). The project is a contribution to the participating governments' supranational development initiative Micronesia Challenge. |
