The project is to increase management efficiency in an existing protected area in Zambia's dry forest region. At the same time the protected area will be expanded. Zoning will be used to defuse conflicts of utilisation. Covering an area of 3.6 million sq km and ten eastern and southern African countries, the Miombo Ecoregion is an amazingly diverse tropical woodland and wetland environment. |
