The International Center for Integrated Mountain Development, ICIMOD, is a regional intergovernmental learning and knowledge sharing centre serving the eight regional member countries of the Hindu Kush Himalayas – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan – and based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The mission of the center is to enable and facilitate the equitable and sustainable well-being of the people of the Hindu Kush-Himalayas by supporting sustainable mountain development through active regional cooperation. ICIMOD, therefore, aims to assist mountain people to understand global environmental and socio-economic changes, adapt to them, and make the most of new opportunities, while addressing upstream-downstream issues.

The Conservancy Association

The Conservancy Association, founded in 1968, is the non-government environmental organisation with the longest history in Hong Kong. As a champion of biodiversity conservation and sustainable development, we have worked on different conservation projects in the past, like Hainan Gibbon conservation, forest rehabilitation in Northwest China, forest conservation by promoting biogas toilet in Yunnan, wetland and tree conservations in Hong Kong. Our mission is to ensure that Hong Kong shoulders her regional and global environmental responsibilities and promotes the rich biodiversity of Hong Kong. We achieve this by carrying out environmental education, taking a lead in community participation, developing different biodiversity conservation demonstration models and advocating appropriate policies.

The Society for Wildlife and Nature (SWAN) International

The Society for Wildlife and Nature (SWAN) International is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, founded in 1982 in Taiwan by scholars, legislators, businessmen, students and nature lovers who shared a keen concern for wildlife and the natural environment. SWAN began as an organization focusing mainly on conservation issues in Taiwan. However, with its increasing involvement in international conservation activities, SWAN has established chapters in several countries since 1990, and has become an international organization dedicated to worldwide conservation. 我們致力於喚起大眾對於生物多樣性的認識與關心,透過辦理工作坊、講座、出版書刊等形式,鼓勵大眾共同認識、保育生物多樣性。

The Sustainability Consortium

The Sustainability Consortium is a global organization dedicated to improving the sustainability of consumer products. Members and partners include manufacturers, retailers, suppliers, service providers, NGOs, civil society organizations, governmental agencies and academics. TSC convenes these diverse stakeholders to work collaboratively to build science-based decision tools that address sustainability issues that are materially important throughout a product’s supply chain and lifecycle. TSC also offers a portfolio of services to help drive effective implementation. The Sustainability Consortium is jointly administered by Arizona State University and University of Arkansas with additional operations at Wageningen University in The Netherlands and Tianjin, China.
