RE: PoWPA and SBSTTA 14

[#949]
Yesterday the agenda item on Protected Areas was taken up by Working Group II under the gracious and capable Chairmanship of our protected area family member, PoWPA Focal Point for Austria, Ms. Gabriele Obermayr.  All interventions (from 43 Parties and 8 organizations) on the suggested recommendations were taken into account and a Conference Room Paper is currently being finalized.  The paper will then go for translation into UN languages. This CRP should come up for discussion tomorrow, Thursday the 13th.
