[#983]
For the first time, the future protected area network for Timor-Leste has been mapped. Timor Leste (supported by UNDP, UNOPS and others) has completed a comprehensive National Ecological Gap Assessment with key findings on forest coverage, other habitats, threatened species and carbon storage.
This document serves as a model for gap assessments and will be used as Timor Leste moves toward implementing the assessment.
