The Convention on Biological Diversity CHM can assist Parties to synergize new projects, offer information on new and existing partnerships, and create opportunities for joint initiatives. It can also offer technical assistance in the development and establishment of new national CHMs and point to existing resources and expertise. Finally, it can foster the creation of a distributed network of partners working to assist Parties to meet obligations and responsibilities with regard to the Convention.
