Consultation on the Sustainable Use of Biological Diversity

 

The opening webinar was organized online on 27 July 2020 as the first of a series of activities organized for the thematic consultation on the sustainable use of biological diversity for the post-2020 global biodiversity framework. The webinar was organized by the co-chairs of the open-ended working group on post-2020 global biodiversity framework, in close collaboration with the co-leads of the consultation and with the support of the Secretariat. The webinar was attended by over 200 participants from over 40 Parties. A summary of discussions from this webinar will be included in the report of the consultation that will be made available for the twenty-fourth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific Technical and Technological Advice.

 

This webinar held discussions that aimed to provide further insight and help strengthen those elements related to the sustainable use of biodiversity in the post-2020 framework. Links to the recorded webinar and the complete list of presentations can be found below.
