GEF-6 Replenishment
The financing framework for GEF-6 was agreed over the course of the replenishment meetings, resulting in a replenishment level for programming in the amount of SDR 2,935 million (USDeq.4,433 million). The pledged contributions amount to SDR 2,452 million (USDeq. 3,703 million) and also reflect credits for accelerated cash payments and note encashments in the amount of SDR 11.3 million (USDeq. 17.0 million). Additional resources that may become available for programming during the GEF-6 replenishment period include projected investment income to be earned during the GEF-6 replenishment period (FY2015 – FY2018) in the amount of SDR 89 million (USD 134 million) and carryover of previous GEF replenishment resources in the amount of SDR 394 million (USDeq. 596 million).

GEF-5 Replenishment
The basic financing framework for the GEF-5 was agreed over the course of several meetings, resulting in a replenishment level for programming in the amount of SDR 2,772 million (USDeq. 4,248 billion). The pledged contributions comprise basic and supplementary contributions amounting to SDR 2,262 billion (USDeq. 3,467 billion) and also reflect credits for accelerated encashments in the amount of SDR 15 million (USDeq. 23 million). Additional resources that may become available for programming during the GEF-5 replenishment period include projected investment income to be earned during the GEF-5 replenishment period (FY2011 – FY2014) in the amount of SDR 73 million (USD 112 million) and carryover of previous GEF replenishment resources in the amount of SDR 422 million (USDeq. 646 million).

GEF4 Replenishment
The basic financing framework for the GEF-4 was agreed over the course of several meetings, resulting in a replenishment size in the amount of SDR 2.1 billion (USD 3.1 billion). Pledged contributions to the GEF-4 comprise basic and supplementary contributions amounting to SDR 1.56 billion (USD 2.28 billion) and also reflect credits for accelerated encashments in the amount of SDR 12 million (USD 17 million) and adjustments towards full funding in the amount of SDR 23 million (USD 34 million). In addition, GEF-4 replenishment resources comprise carryover of previous GEF replenishment resources in the amount of SDR 326 million (USD 478 million), and projected investment income to be earned during the GEF-4 replenishment commitment period (FY2007 – FY2010) in the amount of SDR 251 million (USD 368 million).

GEF-3 Replenishment
At their final meeting in August 2002, Participants agreed that the size of the Third Replenishment should be SDR 2,306 million (USD 2,924 million). After the August meeting, a number of Contributing Participants to the GEF-3 pledged additional supplemental contributions amounting to SDR 35 million (USD 44 million). The total size of the Third Replenishment was SDR 2,341 million (USD 2,970 million).

GEF-2 Replenishment
On 24 march 1998, Contributing Participants reached formal agreement on a replenishment of $2.75 billion for funding operations during the period 1 July 1998-30 June 2002.
