Día Internacional de la Diversidad Biológica
La Comisión Nacional para el Conocimiento y Uso de la Biodiversidad (CONABIO) y el Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (CONACULTA), coordinarán las actividades de la 5ª Semana de la Diversidad Biológica en la Biblioteca Vasconcelos. Ambas instituciones invitan a la ciudadanía del país a consultar la agenda y a asistir a las actividades en su estado.

CIBIOGEM celebrated the International Day for Biological Diversity 2015 by disseminating information on Social Networks (Facebook, Twitter and linkedin). CIBIOGEM joined the campaign #BiodiversitySustainsDevelopment and shared the Fast facts: Biodiversity supporting development.

Furthermore, CIBIOGEM organizes a seminar (in person and online) on 4 June related to maize biodiversity.

Compelling media products like the radio drama-inspired play Guardians of the Mist reinvent the notion of community participation. The enchanting production by our Mexican partners from the Fondo de Conservación El Triunfo and The Nature Conservancy uses storytelling-driven empathy to educate young people on biodiversity. The show follows the heroic efforts of an animal kingdom protecting itself from the threat of habitat destruction.
