In conjunction of International Day for Biological Diversity 2016, a small group of students (35 students) from the Faculty of Environmental Studies,
Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) had organized a one day event (22 May) at Kemaman Recreation Park & Mini Zoo to celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity 2016. The main aim for this visit is to spread awareness among the zoo visitors and to educate the public on the importance of taking care of our biodiversity.

One Nature, One Love
Marina Club in collaboration with WWF-Terengganu and Malaysian Nature Society plan to celebrate International Day for Biological Diversity on 25 May 2016. On that day, rhythmic aerobics will be conducted as warm up exercise before the marathon. A 4km marathon with 175 participants, Nature Run, will be initiated shortly after the aerobics in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. After the marathon, we will make a mosaic of an endangered marine species out of recyclable materials. Besides the marathon and the mosaic, there will be an exhibition of preserved marine species and also a variety of mini games will be conducted.
