Estimating the costs of environmental degradation |
Description |
|
This manual is the result of several studies undertaken by the Middle East and North Africa Department. The work focused on estimating the monetary value of environmental degradation in eight countries in the region. The manual was used to deliver training courses in Cairo (2002), Beirut (2003) and Marrakech (2004). The decision to translate the manual into Arabic was taken to help compensate for the relative lack of environmental economics literature in that language. |
