Governments attending a United Nations meeting on the safe use of living modified organisms have agreed on various actions to advance the implementation of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety to the Convention on Biological Diversity
A panel of government, NGO and scientific experts will discuss the key issues that COPMOP7 can decide on to effectively implement the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety. The focus will include risk assessment, socio-economic considerations, Article 18 and unintentional transboundary movements.
