Council project enhances Nelson's biodiversity

A new Nelson City Council initiative will inject $6 million into a 10-year project to protect and restore biodiversity in the region. The Nelson Nature programme was launched today and mayor Rachel Reese said it would be one of the most holistic, all encompassing biodiversity projects carried out in New Zealand.
