Potting methods similar to those used by green-fingered gardeners the world over can help bring back reefs stripped of their vibrant colours and myriad marine creatures. Ocean experts warned last week how 29 of the World Heritage List coral reefs – including the Great Barrier Reef and those around the Galapagos archipelago – face oblivion because of bleaching by the end of the century.
