Study finds elk are too smart for their own good, and the good of Utah

Animals in the wild are often smarter than we give them credit for. This time it's the elk. Research from BYU wildlife sciences professors finds that at the beginning of hunting season, elk in Utah are smart enough to move off of public lands (where they can be hunted) and on to private lands where they cannot.
