The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity is pleased to announce the first sporting event organised in the context of a meeting of the COP. The "Naturathlon 2008 -- The Course of the World" is an excellent opportunity to bring together delegates from all over the world to participate with the citizens of Germany in a marathon sharing one common goal - highlighting the importance of conserving our biological treasures. The event will take place on Sunday, 18 May 2008, at 15:00 PM. The Naturathlon is a 10-km-race through Bonn's Rheinaue-Leisure Park. For more information please visit the website www.naturathlon.de.
