Pursuant to paragraph 6 of decision IX/9 of the Conference of the Parties and Notifications 2008-076, 2008-144, 2008-151 and 2009-037, a synthesis/analysis of views on the updated and revised Strategic Plan for the Convention after 2010 has been prepared on the basis of views submitted by Parties and relevant organizations to date. This document is available on the Convention’s website at the following address: https://www.cbd.int/sp/ I would be grateful to receive your views (or your further views, if applicable) on the information presented in Section IV of the synthesis/analysis and, in particular, on the outstanding issues highlighted in Section V, at your earliest convenience and no later than 31 August 2009.
