I am pleased to inform you that the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, with funding support from the Government of Spain and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), is organizing a regional training of trainers’ workshop on the identification and documentation of living modified organisms for Latin America and the Caribbean region. The workshop will be held at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) Main Campus, in Mexico City, Mexico, from 23 to 27 November 2009.
