With reference to paragraph A 21 of decision IX/18, Parties were requested to designate a National Focal Point for the Programme of Work on Protected Areas (PoWPA-NFP) vide original notification 2008-124 dated 23 September 2008 (also translated into Spanish https://www.cbd.int/doc/notifications/2008/ntf-2008-124-pa-es.pdf and into French https://www.cbd.int/doc/notifications/2008/ntf-2008-124-pa-fr.pdf), and reminder notifications 2009-053 of 13 May 2009, 2009-079 of 9 July 2009, 2009-170 of 12 December 2009, 2010-109 of 2 June 2010, 2010-129 of 2 July 2010, and 2010-151 of 3 August 2010.
