I am pleased to inform you that, thanks to the financial support provided by Japan and other donors, a regional capacity-building workshop for the regional and local coordination of National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) for Mediterranean Countries will be held in Montpellier, France, from 17 to 19 January 2012. The workshop is organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (SCBD), the City of Montpellier and ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability.
