A draft Capacity-building Strategy for the Global Taxonomy Initiative (GTI), at global and regional levels that addresses the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity, was developed in line with decision X/39 (paragraph 16) and presented to the fifteenth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) as the annex to document UNEP/CBD/SBSTTA/15/5, available at http://www.cbd.int/doc/meetings/sbstta/sbstta-15/official/sbstta-15-05-en.doc.
