The first Coordination Meeting for government and organizations implementing or funding biosafety-related capacity building activities will take place in Montreal, Canada from 26 to 27 January 2005, to provide an opportunity for sharing information on their on-going capacity-building activities and explore opportunities and options for enhancing their collaboration and networking in the implementation of the Action Plan. I am pleased to convey herewith the composition of the Coordination Meeting.
