Further to our Notification dated 20 December 2004 (Ref.: SCBD/BS/CS/jh/45183), I am pleased to remind you that the first meeting of the Ah Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Liability and Redress in the Context of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (BSLR WG-1) will be held in Montreal, Canada, from 23 to 27 May 2005 back-to-back with the second meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP-MOP/2), which will take place from 30 May to 3 June 2005.
