I am writing in connection with notification no. 2005-089 (reference SCBD/I&O/CHM/MS/49984), dated 29 July 2005, where Parties were requested to complete a checklist of criteria, herewith attached, to assist in the evaluation of national Clearing-House Mechanisms in the Latin America and Caribbean region. In view of the limited number of checklists that have been received by the Secretariat so far, and the need by some Parties for additional time to complete their checklist, I wish to inform you that the deadline has been extended to 7 October 2005.
