In consultation with the Bureau of the Conference of the Parties, I wish to inform you that the second meeting of the Ad hoc Open-ended Working Group on Protected Areas, which had been tentatively scheduled to be held in Montreal, Canada, from 5 to 9 December 2005, has been postponed due to insufficient funds.
