I would appreciate receiving the views of your government in response to the COP8 decision. As set out in decision VIII/18, the opportunities for streamlining the guidance provided to the Global Environment Facility will be first considered by the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Review of the Implementation of the Convention, and then by the Conference of the Parties.
