Reference is made to my Notification dated 30 November 2006 (available on our website at: http://www.cbd.int/doc/notifications/2006/ntf-2006-125-pa-en.pdf), in which Parties, other Governments, relevant organizations and other stakeholders are invited to submit information on implementation of the programme of work on protected areas by 31 March 2007. To date, only few countries have provided the information.
