The second meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Review of Implementation of the Convention (WGRI-2) on 9-13 July 2007 in Paris, France, in its Recommendation 2/4, requested the Executive Secretary to revise the proposed scope and format, work plan, communication strategy and financial plan for the development of the third edition of the Global Biodiversity Outlook and submit a revised proposal for consideration of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention at its ninth meeting (COP-9), to be held in Bonn on 19-30 May 2007.
