Brazil Launched the Portuguese Translation of the Third Edition of the Global Biodiversity Outlook (GBO-3)

Montreal, 26 May 2010. On 22 May 2010, during the celebrations of the International Day for Biological Diversity and within the broader campaign on 2010 as the International Year of Biodiversity, Brazil launched the Portuguese translation of the third edition of the flagship publication of the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Global Biodiversity Outlook (GBO-3). This authoritative publication is already available in all six United Nations languages at http://gbo3.cbd.int/, and Germany and Japan have announced versions in their respective languages.
