Bangladesh becomes the forty-second signatory to the Nagoya Protocol

Montreal, 8 September 2011 – On 6 September 2011, Bangladesh became the forty-second Party to the Convention on Biological Diversity to sign the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from Their Utilization to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
