This workshop is intended to bring experts experienced in biodiversity offset design together with CBD government delegates to explore the potential of biodiversity offsets. Specific topics will include: 1) Reviewing emerging best practice on biodiversity offsets internationally; 2) Reviewing progress with the Business and Biodiversity Offset Program; and 3) Discussing COP9 draft decisions that touch on biodiversity offsets.
